Medical Tattooing II (Advanced Course)
Course covering various advanced skin disorders and diseases including vitiligo and birthmarks
Pre-requisite: Medical Tattooing II (Advanced Course)
An extensive 6-week course covering all aspects of scar camouflaging, including bloodborne pathogens, basic anatomy, skin conditions, types of scars, color basics, various types of equipment, and full hands-on training with a minimum of 2 live models at one of our designated training locations.
This advanced course covers more specialized medical issues relating to the skin, including but not limited to, birthmarks, Becker's nevus, vitiligo, advanced hyperpigmentation, keloid scars, lupus, melasma, hypopigmentation, sun-damaged skin, previously camouflaged work and how to correct.
All courses are self-paced with a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks of at-home / on-line training. The course is progressive and each student is given 1 chapter to study for 1 week, take and pass the quiz, prior to moving on to the next chapter. Lectures will be given via video or conference call at the end of each week to review and the final will be taken prior to working with live models at the end of the course during weeks 9 and 10.
Students are required to train and work at one of our office locations for three (3) days during the final course completion. Airfare, travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of each student. Any costs of equipment are also purchased directly from our recommended vendors and is the responsibility of the student.
